In 2020, officers of the Woodstown Police Department began utilizing body worn cameras. We feel that these cameras are a valuable tool used to maintain accountability for both our officers and the public. On 05/25/21, Attorney General Directive 2021-5 was issued, requiring the Woodstown Police Department to inform the public that we are using this technology, provide a photo of what the cameras look like and how they are worn by our officers. Below are two photos, which depict this information. As you can see, our officers wear the cameras on their outer vest carriers.
